The recent addition of Pinecroft at Crosley Estate has created quite a stir within the Cincinnati venue market.
The mansion keeps the promise of a majestic, romantic and timeless atmosphere with beautiful grounds that provide a stunning backdrop for any wedding. Befitting to the quaint town of Mt. Airy, you will be taken back when you first see the lavish home nestled in between an array of greens. The recent addition of an all glass Garden Pavilion overlooking the lake this spring will surely make Pinecroft one of the most memorable venues in Cincinnati. During the winter months the first floor creates a classic, romantic atmosphere for the bridal party and guests with it’s rich mahogany paneling and original teak hardwood floors.
Versatility is key at Pinecroft Mansion.
Think Space at Pinecroft offers companies a private location to “meet, mingle, and engage” with each other. Whether the gathering begins in a meeting room equipped with the latest business tools and then heads outside to an obstacle course for a team building exercise, the grounds are yours and the options are endless when you choose to meet at Pinecroft.
Social events have never been easier to plan than at Pinecroft mansion. The first floor salons and gardens offer high-end cocktail options for any event ranging from 150 to 500 guests. This spring the breathtaking Garden Pavilion will offer space for up to 500 cocktail and 325 dinner guests.

The advent of the Internet has now made it easier than ever to communicate and share ideas with family and friends. A
wedding website has numerous benefits in our high-tech society and is just a natural extensions of your online life. Here are reasons why every couple should have a website for their big day!
- Delight guests with having all the logistical information in one place! It’s a very common fact that some guests will lose their invitations or might need directions to the venue where your big day is going to take place. A website will allow you to place the address of wedding venues along with a link to Google Maps or MapQuest. Additionally, it may be helpful to add a picture of the venue and hotel options for out-of-town guests.
- Give guests a brief history lesson while expressing your creative side as a couple! A website will allow you to share with the guests the history of you two. Couples have been known to share how they met, the always important engagement story, bios about each other, fun facts about their relationship, and of course, pre-wedding photos!
- Don’t forget about the wedding registry! Adding links to the retailers in which you are registered will allow guests to online shop for your gift. Guests are able to find your registry at the retailer and easily view the items you have registered for.
- Keep guests up to date and on time! A great perk to having a wedding website is that you are able to post the schedule of events leading up to and on your wedding day. Providing guests with an easy way to view the necessary information makes sure that they are at the right place at the right time.
- Show off your creative side as a couple! Customizing your website to correspond with the colors and theme of your wedding day will give guests a sneak peak into the big day!
Well it’s finally time for the biggest party night of the year!!! Someone once said that what you do on New Year’s Eve is what you’ll be doing for the rest of the year… so why not throw a party! It’s not to late to plan a get together that is sure to have guests talking for weeks.
The décor elements that I love this New Year’s Eve are inspired by the show-stopping fashion for the night. I’m in love with all things that have elements of sparkle, metallic and high shine. It’s important not to overdose on glam so mix these high-impact pieces with neutral décor elements and you’re sure to have an exquisite event!
Although the biggest party night of the year has some high expectations it’s not about how much money or time you spend. Mix simple yet beautiful food & cocktail recipes (Delish and Martha Stewart have some fabulous ideas), a few creative décor elements, and a group of old friends and you’re sure to have an affair to remember.
Don’t know where to start? Below I posted some pictures that have inspired me when planning my own New Year’s Eve fete this year.
Nick and Brooke sought out Eventurous in hopes of putting the final touches on everything for their wedding day. The ceremony and reception was to be held at Nick’s parents house and they were in need of some assistance on the logistical side of their wedding.
When a celebration is held outside at a private residence it is critical to explore every facet of the event. From power concerns to restroom accessibility to rain plans, we helped Brooke and Nick navigate through the many challenges a outside wedding can pose. The couple was clear that they wanted decor elements that had an organic natural feel. The pairing of pastel yellows and pinks with natural colors like beige, brown and green created a beautiful vintage chic feel for the wedding ceremony and reception. In the end, the wedding was proof that experience is worth its weight in gold as the bride and groom and all guests had a wonderful time.
Nick and Brooke were such a pleasure to work with. We were so fortunate to have helped the lovely couple and their hilarious family on their special day.

The past year has been a growing experience for us here at Eventurous. In 2011 we began the process of successfully redesigning our brand, we added a couple of new team members to the crew, and we produced such an eclectic array of events all over the Midwest. For us 2011 was both a growing and learning experience that closed some doors, while opening an array of others.
All of this would not have been possible without the amazing clientele that we had the pleasure of working with throughout the year. Everyone knows the classic line “a picture is worth a thousand words” but what happens when a picture takes your breath away? As we take a moment to remember everything from the laughter during the planning process to seeing all of our clients visions come to life, we feel that we are truly blessed to have the experiences that we’ve had.
Below are photographs from 2011 that truly take our breath away and we hope that these photographs spark creativity in your souls just like they did ours!
Thank you to everyone who made 2011 such a memorable year!
